Noureddine Saïl is a novelist, screenwriter, and film producer. He headed the Moroccan television programs department from 1984 to 1986, and after that, he worked for Al-Ufuq Channel from 1990 to 2000. He also held the position of Director-General of the Moroccan Channel Two from 2000 to 2003 and worked at the National Cinema Center in Morocco from 2003 until 2014.
Saïl also worked as President of the African Cinema Foundation in Morocco and founder of the National University of Film Clubs in Morocco in 1973 and remained its president until 1983. Saïl is also considered one of the most prominent film critics in Morocco.
His filmography includes two Moroccan films. The first in 1981 when he wrote the story, script and dialogue for the film “Ibn al-Sabil” which was directed by Mohamed Abdel-Rahman Tazi. His second film was with the same director in 1996 with To My Love for which he wrote the story, script and dialogue.
